ABOUT THE HOST

Toby Doeden, a native of South Dakota, grew up in an environment that instilled in him the values of hard work and community involvement from a young age. His early life was marked by financial struggles, which provided him with a strong sense of resilience and determination. Toby initially attended college with football scholarships but soon realized that higher education was not his path. Instead, he focused on starting a family and entering the workforce early. He married his wife, Liz, at a young age, and together they had four children: Jackson, Josie, Jennie, and Jonathan. 

Toby's career began in various sales and manual labor positions and working as a cashier. His entrepreneurial spirit led him into the automotive industry where he joined Aberdeen Chrysler in 1997 as a sales consultant. By 2011, he took over as the General Manager of Aberdeen Chrysler. Beyond his role at Aberdeen Chrysler, Toby expanded his business acumen by founding the 'Doeden Investment Group,' through which he operates several businesses in Aberdeen. 

With a commitment to give back to the community, Toby established the 4J Foundation, aimed at supporting over 100 charitable causes in Aberdeen and its surrounding areas, reflecting his promise to assist others if he ever found himself in a position to do so. 

In early 2024, Toby formed an exploratory committee to consider running for Congress, emphasizing his conservative values and his intent to represent true conservative voices in South Dakota. Although he decided not to run, his political activities continued through fundraising efforts to build a strong conservative coalition in the state. 

Toby is recognized for promoting conservative ideals, focusing on small government, America-first policies, and advocating for the rights of South Dakota families. His approach to business and community service is driven by a philosophy of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and employee development. While not seeking public office, Toby continues to influence the political landscape through his Dakota First Action PAC, focusing on fundraising and supporting candidates who align with his vision for South Dakota.
